Terrific energy saver, but . . .

Great replacement for our old side-by-side (which we sort of miss). Its energy saving features are a real selling point. Only downside is that it cycles fairly frequently and it can definitely be heard throughout the kitchen. But we'll eventually push the sound into "background noise" and hardly notice it. In the meantime we will definitely notice the reduction in our energy bill.Thanks much for a great produce.

Compact, but Roomy!

All systems are a "go" with this up-to-date energy efficient model. I am surprised and pleased by the roominess, considering there's only a total of 18 cubic feet in this refrigerator/freezer unit. This was an awesome update for our two person household.

Great Features

I bought a new refrigerator through PSE and it is great. The feature I like the best is the depth of the holders within the door itself. It holds twice as much as my last refrigerator and keeps everything upright and easy to access.

I probably won't win anything. The Whirlpool refrigerator that I bought several months ago runs so much and it is so noisy! It keeps things cold but I had to move it up to a higher setting. I use it as a second refrigerator and it helps not hearing the noise because it is in another room besides the kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buy a better model

First of all I love Whirlpool products because of their quality and reliability. This unit was provided for free as part of an energy reduction program by the electric company that services my house. It replaces a 23 year old Whirlpool refrigerator which was considered energy inefficient by the electric company. This new unit is not any more energy efficient than my old refrigerator because my electric bill has remained unchanged since it was installed. It is also noisier than my old refrigerator when running. I'm somewhat disappointed in this model and will upgrade to a better model in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my third Whirlpool refrigerator and am always pleasantly satisfied with my purchase. The refrigerator has a unique modern look and shows to be of superb quality both inside and out.

Bought the refrigerator in August and am very pleased with the freezer compartment, keeps everything in perfect temperature. The refrigerator is very simple to remove shelves, if necessary, and everything is extremely visable.

We got this refrigerator 2 months ago and it is working out great. It's storage capacity is very functional and we have a place for all the items we need to refrigerate or freeze.
