Wasted food useless product!

I bought this 1-1/2 years ago. Have now had to shutoff, remove food and defrost. First time I lost freezer full of food after 9 mos of use, 6 mos later caught the freeze up before losing food, and now 3 mos later, frozen again. Since the first time, I now put very little in the freezer as can't deal with space required to empty, air flows freely too. Whirlpool what is wrong with your products???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product for the money. Not as loud as some reviews had posted. Does have a light inside which is a plus and of course is frost free.

Plenty of space

We bought this upright freezer a couple of months ago and I'm so pleased with it. It has great storage options inside with 5 shelves on the door, 3 shelves inside, and 1 basket in the bottom. All of the shelves are fixed (not adjustable) and the bottom basket does not pull out (it is hinged so you can swing the front of the basket open to reach into it which makes it a little awkward to use). It runs louder than I expected, but we have it in our laundry room so the sound level is not noticeable unless the door to the laundry room is open. I am finding it so much easier to use than my chest freezer (easier to organize items and find them).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the freezer a couple of weeks ago. The smaller model fit in my basement where a larger model would not. Perfect internal volume for my needs. Great design. Uber quiet. Works fantastic and I expect it will last another 25 years. Glad I got it.
