Going from a chest freezer to an upright is huge. It has great space and is energy efficient. It seems pretty quiet but it is in our basement. I'd highly recommend it.

Good basic Freezer

Bought 6 months ago. No problems, very quiet suitable for inside home.Mine is in the garage. Enjoy the inside light old one didn't have one.

This freezer replaced a much older freezer. It is about 1/3 the weight of tour previous freezer, has more interior room and we have already noticed a drop in our electric bill. We looked at a lot of freezers and for the size and features of this model - it can't be beat!

I love my new whirlpool 16 cu ft upright freezer. It is not too large and not too small. Perfect for my needs! Love the fact that it has a light inside. Makes finding items much easier! I would purchase this freezer again but it may be years before I will need another!Elaine Waddington

we love our upright freezer, it does the job and it has a light inside which means a whole lot when we reach in to select something. We also got it at a great price and it holds a lot of food. Very happy with this purchase.

I returned this freezer two days after it arrived. It was very loud and I'm hard of hearing! The refrigerant line coming from the compressor was not properly isolatedfrom the other components of the freezer. The vibrations were magnified by these metal to metal contacts causing terrible noise. Either you have a poor design or poor quality control in your manufacturing process.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My whirlpool freezer has all of the features I'd hoped for and more. Solid construction, easy access to product stored within and energy efficient.The exterior has great styling and the interior design allows for organizing all sizes and shapes of goods from ham and turkey to a simple bread stick.I'm thrilled with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another whirlpool product.
