Love my Whirpool Upright Freezer

I am extremely happy with my purchase of my Whirpool Upright Freezer. It makes it convenient to keep my items organized and I love having the additional space in my kitchen freezer. Wish I had purchased years ago instead of a deep freezer.

18 Months - FAILED Company has lost all respect for its Name

Bought 18 months and 7 days ago. It failed this weekend.Just lost hundreds of dollars of food!Will never, EVER buy Whirlpool again!Watch my money whirlpool down the drain.Glad it happened now, was looking at the Wirlpool Washer/Dryer - no more!

Don't buy this one

Bought this in 2013. Replaced a 40 year old freezer that still worked fine. Was just scared it would quit but wish I had it back. You can put very little on the shelves because it blocks the vents. Even with the shelf empty it froze over. A sorry excuse for a freezer. I can see why it has been discontinued. Hope the designers do better with the next one. This product is substandard.

Nice size

I bought this several months ago after my Maytag (which looks just like it) went out after 1-1/2 years. Customer Service was terrible at Maytag, so I decided to go with Whirlpool. My parent's old Whirlpool has lasted for 25 years and is still running. This freezer is a great size and is set up for easy accessibility. It also has a reversible handle which is nice.

Upright Freezer Replacement

Our previous upright freezer recently bit the dust and we replaced it with the Whirlpool. We haven't had it that long, but so far it is working very well. It maintains a very cold interior and seals itself very tightly after opening and closing. My only disappointment is that there is no external light to let you know whether it is operating or not. But I knew that going into the purchase as this particular unit was a cheaper model without the external light indicator.
