This is a great buy for extra refrigerator space! Works well, lots of wide open space to store big party trays, etc and very good sized freezer as well. Energy efficient and quiet.
Keeps food cold and there is a place for everything!

The refrigerator keeps the drinks and food cold and the top freezer is wonderful for ice cream! The refrigerator is just the right size and holds all of our groceries! I love that there is a place for everything! The glass shelving and the outside of the refrigerator are easy to clean. It fits right in my kitchen and looks great! It is quiet and a real asset to my kitchen!! I'm glad I bought it!!
The refrigerator is quite noisey. The full width shelves are very inconvenient. The butter storage bin is too big and takes up too much room on the door. On the exterior, the doors have a smooth finish, whereas the sides have a textured finish.
I wanted a refrigerator without a lot of the frills and I needed the almond color. I picked this one out in fewer than 5 minutes and had it delivered the next day.Others said it was noisy, but mine is very quiet. It's not fancy, but it keeps foods cold! What more could you ask for?
This fridge doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but that's not what I was looking for. I was looking for a basic refrigerator that has decent capacity, acceptable noise levels, and keeps food cold. It does all of these well. I appreciate that the interior is clear so that I can see right where everything is and it doesn't seem dark. I appreciate the capacity on the doors and so far it seems to be constructed well enough to take the abuse of my kids. My only complaint is there is one slide out tray on the door that seems to want to open up on it's own all the time. I can't figure out the usefulness of this feature. This is such a minor annoyance I almost didn't mention it.
Whirlpool is not alone. I could not find what I wanted in any other brand. I have space limitations so perhaps the features I wanted were available in other larger models, although my old fridge had them all..plus. No light in freezer....what were you thinking? No ice cube area, so I took the one out of my old fridge. Freezer door has shelves so narrow.....not much will fit in them. Veggie bins are so much smaller than my old fridge. Have a problem with some things freezing on bottom shelf. To the people who run Whirlpool and make the decisions which affect the consumer, you are contributing to the "Cheapening of America", along with a lot of other companies.
We really like the new refrigerator. It's quite roomy and it's easy to see everything that's in there. Our only complaint is that there is only one control for both the freezer and refrigerator. If we set it to be cold enough in the freezer, it's too cold in the refrigerator. And if we set it so that the refrigerator is the right temperature, it's too warm in the freezer. We have a refrigerator/freezer thermometer, so have been trying to find a good setting for both parts.
