[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to get a new dishwasher, this seemed to be what we were looking for, Stainless tub - no mold to grow... extra cycles to wash dishes, but within 2 years we had to replace this one too. The plastic tubes connected to the dishwasher for water run in, were cracking, then he dishwasher stop working correctly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice and quiet but racks are disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice looking quiet dishwasher but I'm disappointed with the rack system. It seems difficult to load my dishes in a way to fit stuff in better, and there is no small horizontal type rack for washing things like chopsticks, lids, etc. Also, didn't seem to get my silverware very clean.

Washes well but leaves soap residue

I like the way this model loads. Many people say the dishes don't get dry in most dishwashers, but mine dry fine when I use the heated dry option. Problem is that even with the recommended detergent and rinse agent, there is always detergent residue in the machine and on the dishes. I tried raising my home's water temperature to dangerously scalding levels and it didn't help. The owners manual recommends running the hot water before turning on the machine and I always do that (which means that the fancy delay feature is useless). Another of the fancy features of this model is the automatic detergent dispenser, but that requires using liquid detergent which my plumber told me would gunk up my plumbing. Maybe less attention should be given to fancy features and more to actual cleaning. We originally bought a less expensive model and the soap problem was much worse, so we returned it and upgraded to this one. Not too much improvement.

Horrible Machine - The worst ever!

Having run the machine, I must then polish my silverware and glasses. I live alone, so I feel "safe," but the chemical residue is concerning. I must hand wash everything for company. I have tryied various soap brands, so it IS the machine. Simply put, tihs is simultaneously the most expensive dishwasher and the worst one I have ever owned/used. This is probably # 7 or 8 over the years, so yes, I klnow.

Looks good, but poor quality for the price

I was looking for a dishwasher that blends in and this does that with the hidden controls and all black surface. However, quality is a big disappointment, considering the price. Racks are flimsy and wobbly and dishes/pans don't fit in spaces. When racks are partially full, the dishes slide around and fall over. I still can't figure out how to fit 10 place settings using the diagram in the manual. Cleans well after switching to the detergent pods. Overall pretty quiet, but there are several strange noises. I've never heard the double beep at end of wash cycle. Would not buy this again.

Very Quiet

We built our new home about a year ago and put GE Profile Series appliances in our kitchen. Do to the floor plan of our home, the kitchen is open to the dining and living rooms. This dishwasher is so quiet that you don't even know that it's running. It also does a good job of getting dishes clean.

Fourth Dishwasher from GE and is also a dud!

I initially ordered a "Mission One" dishwasher and it would not dry the dishes no matter what and leaked water. Chanced to this one and two arrived damaged and now this one has a bad pump motor.
It also has issued drying dishes but not as bad as Mission One unit.
My previous GE dishwasher lasted 28 years, cleaned and dried dishes well but was making ominous noises, but now I wish I had not replaced it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
