We bought this new refrigerator along with our new home & we are very pleased with it as it keeps our food/drinks very cold & it has a beautiful appearance.

I found the perfect refrigerator

I purchased my new home in November of last year. It,s a brand new home so I had the opportunity to pick and choose most of the items in each room from flooring, counters, hardware and appliances. No doubt finding the perfect refrigerator was a big deal. The Whirlpool Gold has everything! Where can I start, internal and external lighting is awesome. The stainless look and design deliver the modern look that I was looking for. The counter depth design fits perfectly in the space that was built for it. The water dispenser and ice maker make life convenient for everyone who visits my home. It offers plenty of space in the freezer and standard cooling area.I am very pleased with my purchase.

unequal refrigeration

We have had this fridge since March. For both the freezer and refrigerator, the temperature control is inadequate. If you change the temp in the freezer to keep items frozen, ice cream is too soft. If you change the temp in the fridge to keep items at proper temp, some items freeze. We've tried many combinations but nothing works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced our 3 years-old cross-top refrigerator/freezer with this side-by-side. Replaced 40+ years old (yes, that's 4-0 plus years old!) avocado green non-energy efficient cross-top refrigerator/freezer in basement with 3 years-old one and plan to soon eliminate chest-type freezer entirely because cross-top freezer and side-by-side freezer will be enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!
