I have had great success with this product! I love the way the bins are exactly where we need them to be. I can find everything I am looking for very easily and things don't "get lost" in the back of the fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the smooth black finish, which arrived with a blemish under the wrap but because it was shipped in, I didn't want to mess with getting it replaced because we live in a very remote location. So I put it a magnet on it. After about six months of use, there are many fine scratches on it. We do not mistreat our appliances but it looks awful. Also the fridge side freezes everything, and the ice maker is always frosty and the cubes stick together. I have tried every possible temperature setting. I love where the ice bin is and the overall design of the shelves. But I am really starting to hate this fridge. I will never get smooth black finish again. I hope they go back to the rough texture. This was a costly mistake and I am very dissappointed in this refrigerator.

This is the worst appliance that I've ever purchased. Top shelf is only 2/3 usable because all items close to the freezer side FREEZE. Nothing seems to fix this. Ice maker has broken once and seems to be ready to break again. This unit only has one humidity controlled bin; bottom bin can only be used to keep meat FROSTY. Have owned for close to 2 years; very dissatisfied with product and with problem resolution (or lack thereof).Finish scratches easily; have only ever used Bounty paper towels and liquid cleaner in household with 2 adults, no children. Looks terrible.DO NOT BUY!

The in door ice makers don't work. Took 24 hours for 6 small ice cubes. Then after a couple of weeks the water over flows and drips down the front of the fridge. Have had the refrigerator replaced once and the ice maker repaired and replaced 3 times in 6 months.

Food Freezes on top shelf, poorly made

The is the third refrigerator I had replaced in 6 months due to food freezing in refrigerator top shelf, leaking, not making ice along with other defective issues. From what the service technicians said, the quality are very poor and Whirlpool expects many failures. I guess I was spoiled with my old GE refrigerator that I had for 20 years and NEVER had an issue and sold with the house.

This freezer is very slow to make ice. Any food left on the top shelf of the freezer gets freezer burned. It is very loud when it cycles on.

Runs great now, but not at first!

Refrigerator is running great now, but initally had a couple issues. Factory did not install a critical bushing in the fan. It initally made a terrible noise and worked for an hour before the fan froze up. Also, a water supply line had a hole in it. A technitian did come out and repair these two issue and the refrig has run great since. It is stylish and easy to use. Technician was prompt and courteous.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A delight to have in our kitchen...Solid build, awesome lighting, super quiet, and roomy. Temperature is perfect at factory settings, keeping food and drink at exactly the expected norm. Filters a plus. Ice dispenser could come out less forceful but keeping a cup or glass high on the pad does the trick. Overall, a leader in counterdepth stainless fridge in its class.
I would recommend this to a friend!
