Sleek design with nice digital features

We really like our new refrigerator. Everyone remarks about the water dispenser which displays how many ounces are actually going into your glass or bottle. It's a nice feature. The refrigerator is quiet, and it is very easy to change the air and water filters. I appreciate that it is easy to clean inside and outside. Best of all, the inside design is well-thought-outwith good use of space. Energy savings is another great feature!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall a very good value

This is a great overall unit and a good value. Door shelves are not interchangeable, small ice cube storage and water/ice delivery interrupted when someone else opens a door are the only issues we have had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

door ice feature is poor; rest okay

We mostly like this refrigerator except for two things. The most annoying is the ice maker feature in the door. It's unusable on ours - because it continues to pour out ice after one has removed the glass the ice is going into, and so ice pours out onto the floor. Now I just get the ice from the ice bucket in the freezer, but the money paid for this extra feature was just wasted. There is no way to get some ice cubes and just keep them in the glass or cup you were trying to put them in.The drawers also seem a little flimsy and often need some lubricant (we've used soap) to get them to move well.Otherwise it's nice looking. Not as much storage in the main refrigerator (as opposed to the freezer) as we might have liked, but that's the side by side model. The freezer has lots of storage space - although if you want to freeze large turkeys or something like that, this is not the model for you.

The bins and interior space really meet my needs as I freeze a lot of items for use later and I purchase large amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables. I also love the way it fits the space in my home as it looks like it was designed for my space.

Way better than the 16 month old LG it replaced.

The looks of the LG are better, but storage and performance of the Whirlpool are much better. The only real negative is that you have to push really hard on the water and ice pads in order to get the water or ice to dispense. Also, we see "floaties" in the ice that we aren't seeing in the water. Not sure where it is coming from.

Not bad so far

Old Whirlpool fridge only 7 years went out and for the price to fix it I was better off buying a new one. Decided on this model for the extra space and overall satisfied with it. Read the reviews about the ice maker and yes when empty the ice dropping is pretty loud along with the water fill also but not a deal breaker for us. Only been 2 months now but its still working fine and is emptied almost daily for a cooler fill. Interior lighting is great and haven't had any freeze ups in the fridge side on the top shelf. Happy overall with this purchase.

Top shelf will freeze most things as I had read in other reviews.Ice delivery is very messy with a lot of ice falling to the floor.Very average performance for the price.
