Great fit

I love this frig! It has perfect space, it fit perfect right in the cabinet space and doesn't stick out at all. The only complaint is the drawers are hard to open and close good, the only part that is cheaply made.

I got a new whirlpool gold fridge and am so happy with it! Great unexpected features like the display that tells you everything that's going on with the fridge. Things like the temp, when I'm leaving the door open and so much more.Thanks for such an awesome product, I look forward to many years with my Whirlpool. :)Pam

Good Product

We have had this model for about 6 months now. Personally, I prefer the side by side versus the currently more popular models with the freezer on the bottom so this was a good refrigerator for us. We have had no issues with the refrigerator so far, but I would like to point out several small considerations. On a positive note, the doors swing shut on their own if they are not opened to their full extent, a good thing if you have kids or forgetful teenagers (I really don't know if this is a designed feature or our floor but it happens). Two things I do not like are the water dispenser is very slow (volume is almost a trickle-it takes about 10-15 seconds to fill a 12 oz glass) and the replacement filter cartridges are quite expensive for just a small water filter. I also could do without the wine rack, as that takes up far too much space-I just took it out.

So far I'm very happy with the refrigerator. It has a lot of great features. My only complaint is that it makes too small ice cubes. Otherwise it has been perfect.

I have always wanted a refrigerator that has ice and water in the door and now I have one. My old refrigerator was really in bad shape. This new one is counter depth but still quite big in my small kitchen. The inside is well lit and I am finding it difficult to get enough groceries to fill it. It keeps things the right temperature, too.

I didn't get to pick this fridge since it's a new house. The door on the fridge part never closes all the way or it open way too far...there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust it. The space could have been used better. If you put things to close to the walls in the fridge, items will freeze. But other than those items, it works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator freezes everything on the left side of the refrigerator side , not the freezer side. I have had coke freeze and burst twice to say nothing about all the foods that were ruined by freezing on the left side of the top 5 shelves. After 6 times repairing and replacing parts, I am getting a new refrigerator tomorrow. Hopefully this one is better! Also it is very noisey.

This unit works well. Cooled down quickly and runs quietly. The interior is well lit. I can't comment on efficency or reliability since it is only a few weeks old but so far so good.. The ice maker/water dispenser mechanism is a little hard to operate. I like the way the ice maker sits in the door, it leaves plenty of free freezer space.
