Lots of cubic volume in a counter depth fridge! Very happy so far with this fridge! Makes ice fast... Water tastes great! The shelves has some flexibility but there are species perfect for all our needs. Great lighting features! Thought about the dual evap fridge from Kitchen Aide but this single evap has been great. Replaced a whirlpool from the 70's (guessing) and the wife is liking this a lot!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The perfect appliance!

We love our new Whirlpool counter-depth fridge. The design is perfect for our kitchen. It's tall enough to offer the size we need without protruding into our cooking and walking space. We really like the new features like taller water / ice dispense and gradual-light internal lights, with full illumination of the entire contents. The handy wine rack and fully adjustable glass shelves (even in the freezer) are a nice touch as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When my wife said she wanted a counter depth refrigerator I told her we would run out of space. I could not believe that we now can hold more in our counter depth unit than our old unit of the same cubic capacity. Your design and self arrandement really made a difference. I am now a believer.

a few quirks, but otherwise great

We've had this about a month and overall it is working great. There are no real functional issues to complain about. There are a few minor things i'll mention:-I love the ice storage in the door since it doesn't take up as much freezer space. The down side is that it is a smaller container and we go through a lot of ice.-The stainless steel looks a little darker than our other appliances, and since it's next to our oven, it's a bit noticeable.-The water and ice buttons are very hard to push. I can't find an adjustment, but you have to push hard--a plastic cup won't work. I also wish there was just one button so you could get water and ice in the same cup at the same time. Not sure there's any benefit in separating them.-The water does not work when the fridge is open. The manual says it won't work when the freezer is open, but it doesn't work when the fridge is open either.-The wine rack is cool, although we use it for other things--eggs fit well there.

Great Features

I am really happy with it but I had a hard time trying to understand the directions as far as setting the temp. I had to buy another shelf for the freezer because it needed more room. I have black and it really scratches easy, and I am really careful!!!

Nice Fridge

The fridge is nice, spacious and looks great in my kitchen. Just a few minor issues.. for some reason after 6 months.. everything on the top shelf freezes. Trying to figure hte settings out..

FRIG side is FREEZING everything!

I am loyal to Whirlpool - every appliance we have ever bought has been Whirlpool. This is the first frig I've ever had issues with. I had the same model but non-counter depth that was brand new but replaced when we remodeled our kitchen. This frig has been freezing everything I put in it. The repairman dropped the temp to 42 degrees and told me to drop over the next few days. At 42 degrees for two days it was still freezing items on the shelves. I am very disappointed with this frig and wonder if it's common with this model or if I just got a lemon. Oh how I wish I'd win that new frog.
