Does a Great Job with Cleaning

The cleaning of the dishes, pots, pans, grill grates, etc. is wonderful. It is a super quiet unit, the controls are easy to use, and some of the extra features have proven to be quite useful from time to time.
That being said, if I had to pick something to offer as a suggestion for an improvement it would be that the racks for the dishes don't seem to line up quite properly and if you have really large items in the bottom rack, then the top rack must be raised to a level that prevents anything larger than a standard drinking glass from fitting properly.
Don't get me wrong, this machine is really nice & I would buy the same model again. However, I thought that I should list what I have seen as "draw-backs" to the unit just out of fairness. The was that I have worked around this problem is just to run the items on two separate loads in order to fit the really large items. Having said that, I do wish that the tines on the racks would allow the plates & bowls to fit a bit better.

GE's performance reliability on other products (including the GE dishwasher this new dishwasher replaces) has been outstanding. We have owned GE Refrigerators, Washers and Dryers, Dishwashers, Ranges/Cooktops, Microwaves, etc. and have been very pleased with them all.

Doesn't clean as well as our old dishwasher

Usually leaves some dishes that are not clean no matter which cycle you run or for how long. Cereal bowls don't really fit anywhere. The interior is stainless, but the racks are still plastic coated steel. We replaced our old dishwasher because the racks were cracked and rusty and would have cost a fortune to replace. For what this cost, it should do a better job cleaning and the racks should be made of stainless steel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this dishwasher. It's so quiet. You have to be right next to it to tell if it's actually running. I wish it had a quick rinse. But other than that it's the best dishwasher I've ever owned.
