In the era of huge increasing capacity flashdirves and the dawn of the CD/DVD/Blurays this is the best choice if you don't want to spend too much money and want a good quality product.

junk-dont waste your money

bought this because it was netflix ready. and it is-and that works great.
in 6 months i have NEVER been able to play a dvd of any kind all the way through without it freezing up at least twice, and the thing making some sort of clicking and scratching sounds.
all this time i thought i had been buying scratched dvd's. they all play perfectly on the kid's cheap dvd player but not this thing. dont waste your money.

.... but overall it is a pretty decent purchase. I bought a blu-ray player to connect to the internet and watch Netflix. If it was Wi-Fi enabled, it would be better.

Good blu ray player for its value. Apps aren't downloadable though. You can only have the ones that are already installed on the device.

I loved the sleek look of this player, but this is the first remote for a disc player that doesn't have an open close button. On top of that there aren't a whole lot of apps available for this machine, but, it does give me access to Netflix and YouTube.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I received this in December '12 as a Christmas present. It's def a jump from low-tech DVD to hi tech Blu-ray plus I like the additional features of linking my Netflix account. I haven't tried all of the other features yet but so far so good! I'd say this is a good value for the price compared to other models/brands out there. Sound could be a little better but there are accessories out there for that.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
