I bought this boombox probably 2.5 years ago and wasn’t expecting much other than a loud speaker that wouldn’t last an lemme tell ya, This thing has been through some things, every party I’ve been to in that time, been down multiple raft trips an got soaked more than once, ( mind you their not waterproof) flew off a 75 foot cliff with me In a car accident, while playing scar tissue that I wish you saw by RHCP and been ran over,dropped,used as a seat, an has multiple pinholes in the sub, rather large pinholes as you can see the gasket maker.

I love how it looks its a really decorative speaker, the sound is pretty good for the price you are paying, the speakers are uncover so you gotta be careful not to break it, maybe too big to carry it around like like a competition waterproof speaker around the market, anyways its beautiful but the bamboo is pretty fragile you dont want to have a scratched speaker... some prompts to check if its on full volume would be nice.
Good overall but remember its fragile, and maybe its better to let it sit on your living room for a casual get together music :D

I bought this 8 months ago and it is no different than brand new. I played music on full volume for hours and there is still no problem also at full volume it sounds amazing. The battery lasts super long and lasts longer than 8 hours. I left the speaker off for a month and it still played for a couple hours.

Purchased this 3 weeks ago and am so glad I did! Use it in a large living room bar area and the sound is superb. Speaker design is attractive, Bluetooth works great!

FIRMWARE FOR BLUETOOTH UPDATE

I'm happy with the sound, not so happy it can't be charged with usb, which i thought. Then i experiencing problem with the bluetooth bandwith. My macbook pro 2015 should be able to have enough bandwith, but bluetooth singnal keeps interupting and tried it on another macbook or pc and all does the same. I have only 2 magic trackpad and keyboard connected to the bluetooth and should be fine. IS THERE A FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR THE BLUETOOTH?, i wonder if the bluetooth might be outdated on the get together. thanks, overal sound quality is great and can create a hifi in a room.

With the level of damage done to the speaker I didn't expect it would work at all and I was really impressed when I turned it on and it worked perfectly fine I'd definitely recommend it

Mixed feelings

Love the look and sound while it is playing. Issues: constantly cuts out momentarily while playing. All the little beeps of silence gets really annoying. I have a different Bluetooth speaker that never cuts out so I know it’s not an issue with the music from my phone. The other issue is just the pain of re-pairing it with my phone if someone else in my family uses the speaker. I normally have to erase it from my phone’s remembered Bluetooth and it still takes a few minutes to get it to pair up again. The sound itself is great. Both issues seem to be Bluetooth quality issues. Because this is a Bluetooth speaker - the Bluetooth quality is kind of important. Thus I would not recommend this to anyone - which is unfortunate.
