[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator new two and a half years ago and it has had problems since the first week. The ice maker is always jammed because there isn't enough insulation so some of it melts and blocks the dispenser. The wall between the freezer and fridge sweats on the fridge side because it also is not insulated enough. The fridge beeps at us occasionally because it thinks the door is open, and we have to open and close the door several times before it registers that it is closed. The butter door broke the first week because it catches on itself when you open it.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love our KitchenAid fridge. It's the best we've had in the last dozen years. Shelves are well organized and more room than we previously had though it is no larger than we've had with other brands.
The freezer is very large yet doesn't seem to take space away from the regular part of the fridge.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are very happy with all the features of this refrigerator. It is one of only a few that was counter depth and fit our 36 inch space. The inside seems quite elegant, including the recessed lights. The black finish is easy to keep clean. (But wish refrigerators still came in bisque.)
