Not my mothers humidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this about a week. My first thought when I took it out of package is wow things have changed. The humidifier I remember my mom having was this huge ugly plastic container and it was impossible to fill or dump with out spilling water everywhere. This is not only appealing to look at but a breeze to fill. The sound it makes is white noise to me and I like it. It is even quieter on the sleep mode. I like that I can add the Vick’s medicine pad if I get sick. This is very helpful in getting some moisture into my bedroom as I sleep. Winter is rough in upstate New York.

Great Humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great humidifier for a room that is large. It has great features that allow your space to have nice clean air. This is a cool moisture humidifier which works great and it kills up to 99% of bacteria, mold, fungus, and virus in the water which is also great to have. Several members of our family have severe allergies (all year long) and this really helps with our allergy symptoms. This unit is light and portable so you can easily move it to another area. I like that it has 3 different output settings allowing you to use it for whatever you need. If you are looking for a cool moisture humidifier, this is a really great option.

Works great, easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that this Vick’s Humidifier works great, it is very easy to assemble, easy to clean and the features are very easy to understand. The water tank is on the bottom it holds 1 gallon of water. The top must be removed to add water, I add water with a pitcher (my husband helps with that part but you can take it to the sink and add water there), I place the VapoPads and turn it on, on medium. I use it in my kids bedroom for 2 hours while they sleep I then turn it off and unplug it. It has helped them sleep and breath better. Overall I really like this humidifier. i

Quiet and last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought there’s a couple of weeks ago and got to use it since I got in it. I like that we do not need to fill it up halfway through the night. It lasts very long and it is quiet as well. It gives us cooler air quality and we like to use it when the heater is on so that it doesn’t dry our nose up. Thanks to this humidifier a lot!

Great humidifier

It was easy and quick to start using. It holds a good amount of water to be the right amount. It has a nice white noise sound that isn't too loud.

Could Use Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Germ Free Humidifier by Vick's could use some improvement. I like that it adds invisible moisture to the air with a cool air breeze. It's good that I can use soothing, scented pads for extra comfort. I do not like that this uses a filter and the filters are no good. The light bulb that is used to give UV needs replacing. It would be nice to have an automatic shut off if needed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Top of the line in the fight against illness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the Germ Free Humidifier is designed with your health in mind. One of my household members has chronic bacterial infections, so we take sanitizing into strong consideration when choosing home appliances. I've used a UV light with other care products (for example, toothbrush) and have greatly appreciated the extra level of protection against pathogens of all sorts in its water tank. I also like that its filter is easy to replace. I prefer using it without the scent pad, however, I like that the vapors are contained to a single piece of paper rather than in a cup. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my choice and would recommend this device to anyone who needs to take extra precautions against germs.
