It does what it needs to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vicks humidifier is a bit noisy unless on low. The humidifier blows down so you need to place it some place elevated. The air it blows is very cold so it can make the room a bit cool. It does take quite awhile to use up the water and it a little awkward to fill.

I love this humidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this humidifier for our rather large bedroom and I'm impressed with how well it works in such a big space. The tank is easy to fill and lasts quite a long time. With a baby currently sleeping in our room, I'm so relieved that this humidifier is "germ free"! I don't want to risk exposing his little lungs to anything. My husband loves that even on it's highest setting, it is the quietest humidifier we've ever owned (he has a hard time sleeping when the room is noisy). I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend it!

Meet our needs superbly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband suffers from sinus issues and I have sleep apnea which causes snoring and dry throats. I knew that we needed something to help us feel better especially upon waking up when all of our symptoms seem to act up the most. We tend to get dry air and this Germ free cool moisture humidifier by Vick’s has been the perfect solution. The ultraviolet light technology is such a smart idea to help keep your breathing air in house clean , killing up to 99.9% of mold, bacteria, viruses, and bacteria that may be lurking indoors. We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats that contribute to the air quality with their dander but having used this humidifier has helped tremendously. We’ve had other brands of humidifiers in the past but none so far can compare to the benefits we have gotten from this Vick’s humidifier. We keep it on the medium setting since our bedroom is a bit bigger. It’s very quiet so it doesn’t become a nuisance at night when sleeping especially for someone like me who is a light sleeper and needs total quietness when sleeping. There are VapoPads that you can also use that’s infused with Vick’s so you can get the full experience of breathing easier. Very easy to clean and fill up. I so recommend this humidifier!

Good humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the heaters on in the winter time having a humidifier is a must. This is my second Vicks humidifier but first germ free with UV technology and I like it. Unlike other humidifiers it doesn’t release the fine mist that could coat your furniture when running for too long. The water tank is big enough where you don’t have to refill it every day and I love how you can add those tiny Vick’s pads when you are sick to help you breath better. Only complaint I have is that the vent on the front is pointing down and how cold the air is coming out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this humidifier a few weeks back and I love it. Super easy to setup and use. I love the fact that it kills germs using the ultra violet light and that this machine doesn't directly shoot out mist. It has 3 different settings on it. One for a large room, then a medium dispersion, and then sleep mode which is silent! I would recommend to anyone looking to sleep better or control their humidity in their environments.

Best Humidifier & Easy to Clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Vick's GermFree Cool Moisture Humidifier, and I'm quite impressed and pleased with this machine, it's helping me so much with allergies and congestion, also my skin feels better not dry anymore, this unit has a big water tank meant for large rooms, it comes with one filter that would last around 3 months with proper care (see instructions) to extend the life of the filter I submerge it in water and white vinegar, this unit is very easy to clean both the base and the water tank, the cleaning instructions are very easy to follow, I emphasize the cleaning aspect because I had a lot of humidifiers, and to be honest they weren't easy to clean, this one is the best I ever tried in that aspect, the unit has 3 speed levels, never use the high because the everyday moisture speed is enough to humidify, the night time sleep mode is super quiet, a feature that makes this humidifier the best in the market is the germicidal ultraviolet chamber, the uv bulb sanitizes the water from the tank so you don't breathe in fungus, mold, bacteria, when it's time to change the uv bulb a light will turn on right under the speed selector, another important aspect is that this humidifier won't wet any surfaces near it not even at full speed, on top of all this, you can use VapoPads with this humidifier since it has a chamber to place it, it makes breathing so much easier when congested, the unit comes with one free VapoPad and one Filter and discount coupons for refills. I highly recommend this humidifier to people that need a sturdy hard working unit that gets the job done, and don't have the time for hard to clean and complicated humidifiers, this is your holy grail, grab it!

Woke up feeling better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this humidifier every night and I felt great after just one night. I have horrible allergies and I woke up with no clogged nose. Humidifier doesn’t make hardly no noise and doesn’t get dirty as quickly as other humidifiers I have used. My skin even feels less dry now.

What a relief!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been struggling for what seems like a month with upper respiratory problems, mostly congestion, This has brought me some much needed relief, I love the fact it doesn’t collect germs like some humidifiers do and it’s really easy to operate. The tank size is small but mighty, it’ll keep going and the cool mist is great because I don’t feel like I’m going to break a sweat if the room starts heating up.
