Real Nice

I have two other inkjet printers of a different brand setup on my wired network. These printers were getting into my wallet all the time,ink is expensive. I purchased the HL-2280DW in Mid February 2012 to make it three printers This is my first laser printer. I am an amateur at computers but have a backup person if I get in trouble. I had no trouble installing it what so ever. I later installed it in a second computer so I could print from upstairs, no problem again.
Just to give you an idea of how fast this printer prints two sided,I printed the software users guide and Paperport guide for a total of 455 page, 50 at a time to let it cool down and it did not miss a page. All this in about 30 minutes.
Last week I decided to get the HL-2270DW which does not have the scanner,for my daughter for the upstairs computer and I will then connect my laptop to it wirelessly. I ordered it last Sunday 9/3/2012.
Yes, I did put in a high yield toner cartridge
TN450.

Better than earlier models

This printer is my work horse. I use this for almost all my B/W duplex printing and excellent mesh with my home wireless network.
I recommend this printer over the HL-5730DWT models I have(gave one away, the other just lays around if I really need a backup).
I would recommend this to a friend!

HL - 2280DW - Love It!

I bought this laser printer to use at home with my MacBook for school and personal use. It has worked great for all of my needs and was much more affordable than the two others it replaced!
I love the double-sided printing and the scanner. As a teacher I can print out a master copy of a worksheet or test and then print more copies at work. The print quality is excellent.
I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone needing an affordable laser printer that can scan documents and print double-sided!

Good, but could be better.

I consider myself above average in being tech savvy, however, when instructions on how to set up a printer becomes so labor intensive and interpretations to meanings become mandatory, it makes me want to give up. Time is one thing I do not have, so I do not want to take 3 hours or more to set this printer up. That being said, I do not have any problems with the printing aspect, for printing only, I would give it 5 stars. But I would like to use the scanner, and to get that up and running seems more of a chore than is necessary.
I would recommend this to a friend!
