Great small office machine

Well built. cartridges last a long time. Printing flawless.
Software problematic. One laptop likes, it another doesn't, so printer has to be installed through Windows add printer.
Seems to have settled down now and all is well.

A great Purchase

I purchased this printer to finally end the costly ink cartridge nightmare. This printer has worked flawlessly right out of the box. Easy to set up, wireless works perfectly and print quality is great.
The scanner and software works just as it should also. I cannot say enough good things about the HL-2280! Looking for a small business or home printer? This product is worth every dollar!

This is the second Brother laser I've owned. The first has been used for over 5 years without an issue. I wanted more versatility and only thought Brother. This printer is great! It prints, copies, does duplex and wifi without a hitch. I highly recommend it for home use.
I have recommended this printer to others.

Not as good as I thought it would be

I've been a big fan of Brother printers for a long time and already owned three of them when I bought this one. Like all Brother printers it is very reliable and easy to use. Two surprises. First, it's much noisier than my older Brother printers. Second, the manual feed is only good for one page at a time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A very competent printer

I have had my 2280 for about two months and it has done whatever I asked it to do. Wireless setup took some time, but it was not complicated. I especially like the duplex capability, and the new iPad app that allows wireless printing directly from my iPad. I have not given 5 stars because i do not know yet how well it will stand up in the long term.
I would recommend this to a friend!
