PROS: The printer prints
CONS: Difficult to use the SCAN feature with Windows 8.
CONS: Difficult to use the SCAN feature with Windows 8.
Laser Toner does not last.
Wireless feature is not user friendly.
Print size is difficult, if not impossible to change.
No ability to personalize printing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent product

This is a very good black and white printer. It synced up flawlessly with my network after running the installation disc. It scans and prints without a hitch. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wireless black and white printer. I would buy it again. The printer was bought to replace another brand printer that I could not get to print wirelessly even after sending it back to the manufacturer.

So far so fairly good

I think that the "Low Toner" alert came up after about ten pages is a bit lame. Run them till it doesn't print anymore. The whole low ink at 20 pages is why I don't use an inkjet. I also haven't found a 'Scan to copier' yet, rather than having to scan to computer but that just could be me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very Good Printer

The ink cartridge does not yield the amount that is printed on the box. Otherwise I am very happy with it. The printed doucument is very clear and the output (speed) is wonderful)

Great reliable printer

Had this printer almost a year with no problems.
It's easy on toner and keeps on ticking. I make about 60 pages a day on it, fast and easy.

Am very pleased with this printer. I wanted a laser printer to replace a (cranky) older inkjet and it does nice black/white print jobs very fast with good quality. Am not using the wireless feature. Will be trying the duplex mode soon.

Easy Setup and Fast Printing

My husband and I own a small desktop publishing company. In the digital age, we don't have to print much, but after years of using inkjet and dealing with bleeding ink, slow printing, etc for the few documents that we do print, we decided to switch to laser for our basic document and label printing. So far, this printer has exceeded our expectations. I can print from anywhere in our house and it works quickly. The double-sided function is great, too. We will be considering Brother laser printers for our color printing needs in the future.
