I traded this printer in 'cause I wanted a color printer. When I saw color scanner on the box before buying it, I assumed color print as well.

I bought this printer on nov. 2011. I was looking for a printer that were economic, practical and wireless. This printer meet all and more. I can be upstair and still printing without problem. Excellent buy.

Best Purchase Ever

Well, maybe not the Best Purchase Ever, but it comes close. For the money, value is excellent. It has been very useful since I bought it for printing and scanning. Setup was easy and the included software is easy to use. Print quality and scan quality are both excellent. If I was to buy a printer again, it may be the same one with the document loader on top. That makes it easy to copy or scan multi-page documents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Choice

I have had a serries of multi function Inkjet printers prior to purchasing the HL-2280DW laser printer/copier/scanner. I decided on the laser since every inkjet I have owned has malfunctioned in some way, usually due to one or more colors of ink becoming clogged.
After a few months, I can see that this printer is performing very well and is meeing all of my expectations. The initial toner cartridge is running low now and I keep getting warnings about low toner, but the printing is still good, scans are clean and easy to execute, and the construction of the printer is solid.
Unless you need color prints, I would suggest that you stay away from inkjets. This laser unit is a good, reliable substitute.

Nice printer. Only complaint is the amount of toner/ink it uses. Seems to be quite excessive.

The is a great printer, It has worked flawlessly for me. It is wireless and Ethernet wired, I use the double sided printing to save paper and make reports more professional looking. The price was very good also.

My decision to purchase a Brother laser printer sure has turned out to be the correct decision. I will make my next printer a Brother for sure. After purchase customer service has been outstanding and I no longer have to buy Ink jet everother day. Laser technology is the way to go. Color will be my next Brother laser.
