First Brother printer product I have purchased. Have always purchased HP before this product has sold me Easy to use low cost and the toner wont brake your bank

Installation was effortless; hooked up to the wireless router with out a hitch; on the PC I said print and it took off.
Do not think I've had a PC-related product do so well (and that's from several vendors.)

Only One Drawback

This is an excellent multi-function B/W laser printer for home use (where fax capability is NOT wanted); however, I wish I had known that I could not air drop from other devices before I made my purchase. This detail was not disclosed by the retailer. Yes, I can "hard wire" from, for example, my smart phone to download digital data and then print, but that's an extra step I would have preferred to avoid.

I upgraded to this printer after having a 2270 model for one year. I wanted the scanner but found out quickly it did not have a document feeder which I wanted. So i returned it and bought a MFC 7360N which has it all. I even got it for a low price online.
I love my printer now.
This one is full automatic duplex which means it can turn the paper over and print on the other side automatically. This saves paper over time. Great printer and single page scanner.

Quick and economical

We purchased this BW laser printer to replace a color inkjet printer. My wife is a teacher and she does much more BW printing than color. It was costing us a fortune in inkjets the other way. This printer has been to date perfect. We still have a color inkjet for when we need color but most of the time we print to this printer.

Wireless is a pain

I have trouble networking to the printer/scanner. It periodically stops working with my computer. I hate the bloatware packaged with the install disk, something like, "PDF Writer". Really? You think I need something like that at this point? I don't know if it's the wireless aspect of this printer/scanner or that Brother model itself, but it is not fun. One thing I know for sure: I will never buy another one of this model again, and probably won't buy Brother either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
