It works great. I havent had any problems with it so far. I don't use it too much so I don't know about any supply costs. It does print very fast from one page to the next.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HL-2280DW Pretty Good Laser Printer

Found the 2280DW to make good copies and really nice color scans. The only problem was an update was needed in order for the scan to folder function to work in Windows 8. Since Brother couldn't tell me for sure that an update would be done, or when, I opted to return the printer in exchange for a Windows 8 friendly laser printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this printer to replace an inkjet printer that claimed to be inexpensive to operate. It was...as long as it kept running.
After replacing print heads several time, I decided to opt for a more reliable printer. The HL-2280DW offered just about everything I needed, was relatively inexpensive, easy to set up and has performed flawlessly.
A gret choice!
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far this is a good product. When it goes to the que to print, it's takes a little while. But overall, very good product.
