this is our 4 brother. We use this for traveling for business. Works great have had no issues with the wireless feature on this unit.

Loved the Wireless??? printer until I tried to sync it with my new I-Pad. Will not print without about 10 steps to copy & paste. Bummer!!!!!!!!!!

Only issue is that does not work wirelessly each time I use it. Have to reset the router each time.

HL-2280DW Best Printer Yet!

After owning a Brother HL-2270DW for over a year without a single problem our ten year old Canon Laser bit the dust. We decided to buy a Brother HL-2280DW to replace the Canon. The printer installed quickly without any problems at all and has worked flawlessly since. The toner cartridges available on the internet work great and on a per page basis this printer can't be beat!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Support!

I just got the printer it works OK but I had a problem and called support. They tried to feed me every excuse in the book that wasn't even related to my situation as a solution. Finally they would just drop the call and leave me hanging. I understand they were in Singapore. Well, some executive is making a big BONUS by contracting this CHEAP no good support. I just hope he has the opportunity to experience what he has provided for us. It would be poetic justice!

This unit does an outstanding job for my home. Prints, copies and scans are clear and clean, nice combination at a very reasonable price. Quick and easy to install.

Wireless Horror

I estimate I paid about $40/page of either printing or scanning. I seldom print, but when I want to print, I don't want to have to go through setup each time. I was able to connect wirelesly, print and scan once, but then not again.
When the printer went idle, it lost all wireless information. I never reached near the 50 pages it apparently takes to run out of toner, so I don't know about those issues. Customer support was useless, they just walked me through setup and if worked once, they never solved the problem of it losing setup info when it went to sleep.
I ended up going with a competitor, it was too late to return this, but brother has gotten the last bit of money of of me that they will.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new printer. For my community work the printing needs require lots of printing and I am actually saving money. The printer is fast, can load lots of paper and work up a storm.
