Good printer for the price. Only strange thing is that is appears to draw a lot of power when waking up as it causes my lights to "blink". Probably because I have lots plugged in to one circuit.
Good speed and duplexing. Paper output location could be improved, but well worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hooked it to my wireless modem and now print from every computer. Using Using Brother's Android app, now print from smart phones and tablets.
Took a week to discover the document feeder for copying and scanning. Pleasant surprise!
Took another two weeks to try two sided printing. Great!!!
Any problems?
No.
Absolutely love it and recommend it to any small to medium volume installation.

repeated difficulties

Over and over I have had to delete printer and re-install in order to get my computer to recognize this printer. I have never had this difficulty with the several other printers I have used with this computer. When it works, it works very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent! Biggest Bang for the Buck!

I just bought this model 3 months ago as I had moved my MFC 8840 to my office and needed a laser printer for my home office. This is an excellent buy for the money being that it is a Laser MFC with an Autmatic Document Feeder. I have already recommended this model to a lady in the next building that needed a durable, economic, efficient, compact laser printer. Best Bang for the Buck! My third Brother MFC...I am a Brother Guy for Life!

great printer works well I stayed with brother for the duplex printing feature since my MFC 8220 is 8 yrs old and is still going strong...

I use this as my laser printer daily. It's great for scanning documents to email. We also use the 2 sided copy feature to make copies for our files.
