The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is my first smartphone. I've been using cellphones for more than a decade and found the transition simple. The S4 is overwhelmingly intuitive. I've been able to quickly figure out how to do everything I wanted to do. It's features work smoothly, doing everything I need my smartphone to do for business and personal requirements while often surprising me with that little bit extra. It could have come with fewer apps - removing/disabling those I don't want seems a bit tedious, especially when I can find and download the exact apps I want quicker. I guess that's less the phone and more the delivery. Voice quality - whether through the phone, through the speakerphone, or through my bluetooth headset is excellent. Battery life is great, too.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, great value, nice size
Cons: too many apps pre-installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I absolutely love this phone. I had the 3 and upgraded to the 4. I am a Samsung fan forever. The phone is easy to use and I love how I can link it with my Samsung tablet and any other Samsung electronics. I want yo get the galaxy s6 edge.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use

Note 3 to Mini

As a Project Manager making about 200+ calls a day, I had the Galaxy Note 3 and it worked well, good performance and great screen/display. I have big hands and I continued to drop my phone at least once a day, just difficult to grip. Switched over to S4 mini, and its just like my old iPhone 4s. Small compact and Android (love to customize it unlike the Apple). Performance is one step below Note 3 but expected. Lower Resolution but expected also. Was told by online Verizon rep the Gear Watch would work but haven't been able to make it work. Verizon rep at Store said to wait for Firmware update> So I wait, no biggie. A very solid phone. On par with the iPhone or at least with the 4s.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: right size
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed in battery very short life! If I was a heavy user the need to recharge would be 3 times a day! Volume button and on off button are located directly across from each other making it difficult to do one function without inadvertently altering the other!

Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love the size of this phone. I hate to have to carry a "book" in my pocket to own a good smart phone, so this phone is the perfect size and does everything I need and more. It has features and actions that I don't even know about. I learn something new that it can do every day. It is an awsome phone!!!

I got this phone after I broke my S3, and it's been a fantastic phone. The same features I loved with the S3, plus more that have been great.
