until now hear what the red light of death, the only thing that has happened is that on, the screen goes black as a second (always with the green light) and then returns to normal wing (only happened to me like 4 times), is just one month of use, if you know something about it please let me know. also as a monitor and not put it at 120 Hz and that only goes to 60 Hz,
What's great about it: Large, well-designed, thin
What's not so great: NO dvi or displayport brings, and as a PC monitor just makes me 1080p @ 60Hz only

Red Blinking Light of Death!!!

I've had this Display for less than a month and today it went black with a blinking red light, i looked it up and i found out that its a common issue, apparently it means the display is TOAST!!! I"M SO ANGRY AT SONY!, they had this product for a while and never thought to fix this problem. DON'T BUY THIS DISPLAY! i wouldn't choose one freaking star if i could for this product!
What's not so great: DIES!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned this unit for 2 months now and has never failed. Best 3D computer monitor I have purchased. Use it for my PS3 and computer and works perfectly. The pictures are very clear and stunning. 24 inches works for my setup. Just my room and it doubles as my desktop monitor!
I also bought a remote since it was a lot easier to navigate with. Any universal remote works.
What's great about it: LOW COST, great picture, CEC,
What's not so great: No remote
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had mine since July 15 of 2012 haven't had any issues yet.
there is an auto on feature that will turn the display on with the ps3 i enjoy along with the auto off if no signal is being recieved very nice and conerves the lifetime of the tv i would expect.
single player 3d is amazing as well as the simulview with the available games is super. full screen for two people instead of split is awesome.
at the original price i would expect two pair of the glasses but one pair at the 199.99 price i can cope with so i got one at the time of purchase. 70 plus tax so little pricey but i do say i haven't had to charge either pair since i got them and i use the display daily.
3D gaming is way to awesome.
i'm thinking of purchasing another as a gift,
the colors on the display are terrific. when the screen is off or on black screen there is a major glare which may upset some but isn't that noticable while actually playing, unless your on our patio or somplace with loads of light.
I have my display in a dark room with my ps3 system and computer to it

Sony, fix your display.

Bought this display on July 11th, used it for a few hours a day, maybe 4 at mos. Then come august 5th I go to power it up, and am greeted with the blue wide light, as usual, followed by a green light to the far left, then just a constant red blinking light. After lurking the internet for a while, I found out my display is dead, and this is a pretty common problem. Ffs, I didn't even know displays/TVs could get a red light of death! For what I paid for, I expected at least a few years of enjoyment, not 1 month. Sony, fix your product. And a price-drop, is definitely not considered "fixing your product".
What's great about it: Beautiful display. Natural 3d
What's not so great: Lasted less then a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't know what's with these people saying it only lasted 1 month?? I have had mine for just over 5 months. It's on almost 24/7 and runs beautifully so far! I know it says it has a subwoofer, but don't expect to be blown away by the sound. I use the PS3 stereo headset most of the time anyway. Very happy with my purchase overall. Just glad I didn't buy when it was $499
