Since 2008 and not much has changed in the way of quality and timeliness of product. It gets delivered, subscription on point, and due to subscription lifetime warranty (but, not new unit, refurbished replacement; not as easy to process like before).

We have used our T500 and Silver Filters for about 5 years now. I am just about to place an order for another T500. We have no complaints. We actually travel with ours in addition to using it every day at home. I am not sure if there is a way to test if this is actually working in regards to removing mold spores but our filter is always thick with dust when we replace. That tells us it is definitely cleaning our air in that way and we all know dust carries toxins. So, we are pleased and trusting our Silver filter is removing mold spores.

We have two Alen air purifiers and use the T500 in our bedroom. The silver filter suits our needs well and we have always been happy with its performance. One filter usually lasts 4-6 months for us.

I have 2 tower Allen air filters. My only negative is the price of the replacement filters. I live on a fixed income and sometimes I have to delay getting a new filter.

I am very satisfied with my T500 hepa filter and I just purchased the silver replacement filter. I got it last year after moving into this apartment where the previous tenant had let his dogs use the rugs as their bathroom but the management only changed the rugs and not the pads underneath. There was still a bad smell and as I am allergic to many things and suffer from copd, there was probably mold and mildew causing me to suffer terrible shortness of breath as well. I put the filter in the bedroom doorway and it is working very well and allowing me to breathe much better overnight. It didn’t make any noticeable change in my electric useage and I leave it on continuously. At first the fan noise irritated me but I have gotten used to it and hardly notice it anymore.
