don't think it does as good a job of filtering as the standard filter....my wife has an allergy and it seems worse now than the standard filter, even at the end of the standard filter life... will stick with standard next time

The TF-30 HEPA silver filters

The TF-30 HEPA silver filters do what they're supposed to do: keep the air cleaner than without filtration. We have a long-haired Yorkshire Terrier, and these filters work quite well keeping hair, dander, mites, pollen, etc. to a minimum. We have TWO (2) T-300 units; one for the living room, and one for the master bedroom. These have performed well for years.

Definitely helps if you have asthma

I buy these for a family member who has cats and asthma (yes, I know) and these filters do a fabulous job of keeping keeping the air clean and moving. He can tell when the filters have to be changed.

Before I purchased my T300 I did a detaied search and even though it was more money than I wanted to spend, my alergy of mold took the forfront in making my decision, As it turned out, it was the best decision that I could make. GREAT PRODUCT.
