Clean air

I bought this purifier for our kitchen which has no ventllation and the cooking smells are awful. The purifier needs to be up on a higher speed in order for it to completely clear the room which is noiseier but it does do the trick. The purifier blows cold air so on chilly nights or mornings you feel it.

after 2 weeks purifer becomes noisy on lowest speed

Replaced original filter after 3 months. Purifier had become very noisy on lowest speed. After new filter installed purifer ran whisper quiet for only about 2/3 weeks and then gradually became noisy again on lowest speed. The prefilter is cleaned weekly with little visionable dust. I am assuming increased noise due to filter blockage. As expensive as filters are I would expect them to last longer.

I have had other filters but this is the best yet. Clears the room of dust, pollen and pollution from cars. Really has helped my allergies.

The Alen purifiers are excellent. Have been using 2 for years now. great for dust reduction and allergen control. i recommend cleaning the outer layer of the filter occasionaly until your ready for replacement.
