Best Case Ever

This case was the best phone case I ever had, hands down. I had the Glacier (white) case which did not absorb other colors and the white stayed white for as long as I had it. I now have the Galaxy S6 Edge and, unfortunately, Otterbox doesn't make the Commuter Wallet Series for this phone yet. PLEASE make a wallet series for the Edge!! I gave my iphone 5 case to someone else when I got rid of my iphone and that person is still using it. It still looks new after two years! (Imagine that for a WHITE case!!) The case is also superior protection for drops. My phone was dropped many times with no damage whatsoever to the phone or the case. Thank you Otterbox!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really think you should make one for the iPhone 5c! Because I see more students with the iphone5c, and that'd be great to have a wallet case from Otterbox, and with busy lifestyle of a student, they can think "do I have all my work in my bag?" Instead of "do I have my wallet" and if not they have to run back home, and be late for the bus/class, so just a consideration, please make one for the iPhone 5cM
This is my first tterbox. It is very nice I like it. Other family members have Otterbox's. So that is why I went with Otterbox. I only protection a good is bacause I have only had the Otterbox for 2 weeks. So as time we will see. But like I said other family members love there Otterbox. And I do to nice size, with the phones being so thin it gives it some thing to hold. I love the wallet feature.

Good Case, but Room for Improvement

I feel confident knowing my phone is safe in an Otterbox case, but I am not as happy with this Commuter series case as I was with the Defender series I used while waiting for this one to arrive. While the Defender series case was bulletproof, it was too bulky to be used for a pocket phone, hence the reason it likely comes with a belt clip. This extra thickness is the sole reason I turned to the Commuter series. Although the Commuter series offers less protection, with exposed speakers, silent switch, and camera/flash, it is significantly thinner and has a smooth plastic outer casing, making it much easier to slide in and out of a pocket. While this might be an advantage for many, I enjoyed the security the Defender series' rubber grip provided during quick grabs and one-handed operation. Another opportunity for the Commuter series case are the protective covers for the headphone jack and data/charge port, they do not close as securely as those on the Defender series case, always protruding slightly from the bottom of the phone. Also, the self-adhesive screen cover, unless opened and installed in a clean-room, is extremely hard to install perfectly without any lint/air bubbles (I decided to leave it off for this reason and since it's been removed from its protective plastic and exposed, it is forever unusable. Lastly, the sleep/wake button on the Commuter series case is significant harder to activate than the Defender series, you really have to put some muscle into it to! Overall, given the issues with the sleep/wake button and the fitment of the bottom covers, I feel this case is on par with most others on the market and, for that reason, I rate it as Average.
Pros: thin yet still very protective
Cons: sleep/wake button hard to push, fitment of headphone and charge/data port covers
Still an Otterbox, but not very practical...for me

Otterbox is obviously the leader in cell phone cases and when I saw this wallet case, I bought one immediately. It will still protect the phone as Otterbox does so well. But its just not as practical for me as I thought. Sure, I could fit my cards in the case, maybe some cash or even a concert stash ;) but I am not going to be able to fit my ID, two debit cards, two credit cards, key fob card, health insurance card, etc. So I will still be carrying my wallet. Also, I'm not sure that the ability to stash a few cards is worth a thicker cell phone the rest of the time. Especially with all the hard work cell phone scientists have put into reducing size and thickness.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: not practical, thick
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Covers Finger Print on 5S, White Rubber Stains
on October 27, 2013

I called specifically to ask whether it was made for the iPhone 5S and if it covered the finger print scanner. They assured me it was fine. Sure enough it blocks the fingerprint scanner which makes it difficult to use. 3/4ths of the time the reader can identify my finger.
The other problem is that the white rubber bumper gets stained very easily. I've tried a white eraser, rubbing alcohol, a magic eraser, dish washer detergent, bleach, purple power, and bar keepers friend. If it weren't already stained, I would return it immediately.
Because I have to try everything I hd to buy one of these ti see if it was useful. I was sorely disappointed when it arrived, there isn't enough room to carry more that maybe two credit cards and a could poe bills and since I use the new circular charge plate, it would pick us the charge, even empty, through another, layer of plastic, let alone if I had something in the little pocket. Also until you it A LOT it's really difficult to get the back to slide enough to open and put something in there. I was also hoping that there would be some kind of rubber linig or inside to absorb any shock but nope it's all plastic.
I'd say don't bother, I'm sticking with my Mothie battery & storage case, it has a great battery, isn't really heavy and adds a other 16,32,64,128GB of storage. It also feel really goon and non slip to hand onto. Cheers all P
Cons: too small and difficult to break in the first 50 t, no real rubber inside protection.
