The Exhibit is a great starter phone for someone who wants to transitition to the android market/4G market.
Color: Available in black or light purple.

Exterior/Design: The exterior of the phone is one great aspect. I love the skin type grip it has. I don't plan to use a cover and only plan to use a screen protector. Snug when trying to put in pockets/tight spaces. Bottom faux leather trim piece.
Camera: Pictures are decent. A couple of different modes to choose from in different settings (night, monochrome, etc.). Using front facing camera to take pictures is not recommended. Very pixilated. Postive that it has flash. Video calling is good. The other party could not hear me very well/lots of background noise...
Video recording: Works well.
Battery life is decent but not a good as my previous phone (Sausung) which required a charge every other day. I keep my usage on the lower end so I need to charge once a day. Battery life really depends on personal usage (videos, streaming, browsing web, music, live backgrounds, etc). Recommend purchasing a car charger.
Size: Larger than my previous Samsung but smaller than ones currently offered in the market/Android phones.
Settings/easy of use: It took about 3-4 hours setting up to my liking. Easy to navigate.
Apps: Good pre-installed starter apps. 8 homescreens to save apps to.
Main use is to check email, check Facebook/update status, watch a couple of music videos, facetime (Tango), talk and text.
Web browsing: Fast. Touch screen to zoom in/out of page.
Can open 4 web pages at one time.

Keypad: Buttons are small. I changed the setting to tilt automatically to type horizontally.
Screen: Size is ample and large. Colors are rich.
Pros: durable, great screen, touch screen, great web browsing, WiFi, speakerphone

First time smart phone owner/user. Very easy to figure out. I was nervous moving from keyboard to Swype texting, but I kind of think it's fun. HIGHLY recommend.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I had been planning on upgrading to the MyTouch 4g after my MyTouch Slide. I was in the store comparing the two and the Exhibit 4g had all of the features without the larger pricetag! :)
The only thing I miss is an led light to tell me when I have a message or the battery is charged, etc.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Fantastic easy to use phone at a great price

I did about a weeks worth of research when deciding on which phone to pick up next on the Tmobile network. At the time, pricing was most important but after reading and seeing video reviews, I am definitely glad I choose the Exhibit 4G. This is my first smart phone and in no time I was up and running without issues or questions. It has some great features, nice design and very well constructed. brilliant colors on the screen, not as crisp at the Galaxy S but besides that, basically the same at half the price! Couldn't be happier with my decision

Continually Crashes

I've owned this phone for just over a year. The first one I brought home needed to be replaced after a few weeks because it couldn't run for more than a few hours without freezing up. After it was replaced, it would freeze on occasion, such as when I used Google Maps to navigate and a call came in, but not to the point that I was horribly inconvenienced. it was my first smartphone so I thought a glitch here or there was normal. Over time its performance has continually worsened until now it is functionally inoperable. If it is not plugged into a wall it crashes whenever I attempt to use an application (and I define crashing as the phone shutting itself completely off), and even then, it will still freeze on occasion, which means that I then have to turn it off. I've restored it to factory settings twice and no improvement. To top it all off, it waited until just a few months after my one-year warranty was up to completely fall apart.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Phone @ Good price

I've only had the phone a couple of days but it seems well built, much faster than my old hero. Battery life seems to be a bit better.
The size and weight are excellent, not too big carrry around in a pocket, an issue I've found on all the 4G phones I've looked at.
In my area I've been getting 5M+ on downloads and 2M on uploads while tethering which is my main purpose for this phone.
One really idiotic "feature" is that it uses the sms alert notification when the battery is fully charged. Not good for someone who is on call 24/7 to have an alert at 3am. I'd like to get the guy's # who thought that was a good idea so I can call him everytime it chimes.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: full charge audible notification

Good phone overall

This is the first smart-phone I have owned. It is easy to operate and the features are exceptional. The only problem I had was the battery life. Not knowing how much power an app consumes and what parts of the phone draw power, initially I had to charge the battery every 9-10 hours. After a little knowledge gained, the battery is lasting 2-3 days. I would recommend this phone to the first time user or those that want a phone that will meet or exceed your requirements.
