Great Machine

All these new devices are beyond my understanding, so I only use this machine for printing from my computer and copying. Occasionally my son helps me scan something but, I don't even have it connected for faxing.
So far it has worked very well for what I use it for except for a couple of times it has grabbed more paper than it should and has cost me a few ruined printings. Otherwise I am very pleased with this machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great print quality and I love the auto-on and auto-off feature. Easy to use and works great with my IPOD and tablet.

Loading paper is difficult, especially photo paper. The paper tray is flimsy plastic that is difficult to push back in. I don't like the print and scan software that came with it. When you have a paper jam, while it is easy to remove the jam, it is difficult to get the printer to recognize it has been removed. I do like the way it prints directly on DVD's and Cd's. That feature is spot on. I would not buy another Brother printer.

Good printer

Overall a good printer, prints quickly, and very clear and brilliant color in photos. It has on occasion lost wireless connection and wish the cartridge would last a bit longer, but they are not too expensive to replace. Would probably get another Brother.

I've spent more on ink than I spent on the printer. You can't just print in black and white. If any of the color cartridges are empty you are back to the store. I only print in black and white so I have no idea how they even get low. After one 3x5 fast print pic on plain paper, and 6 black and white prints, about 1/6 of yellow is gone!

Great little printer

This printer has some really nice features. It is an all-in-one with fax and scanner as well as printer. We really haven't used the extra features very much, but they have come in handy for the few times we've needed them. We like having separate ink cartridges for red, yellow and cyan rather than a single color cartridge. The wireless capability is really nice and has worked very well. I would probably give it five stars had not our initial all-in-one not started jamming about 11 months after we got it. Brother finally had us send it back as it was under warranty and sent us another refurbished one of the same model. It has worked well except for a time when it mysteriously went offline and I got outside tech support to fix the problem. However, I'm pretty sure this was a Windows issue and not the printer's fault.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my printer. Never jams, never has mechanical problems of any kind, and provides the most inexpensive printer forms I have ever used.
