It's an ok printer. The top is a bit flimsey

I recently purchased this machine and for a while it worked great. Issues occured and I replaced it. The second one worked great for a while then the paper feeder stopped working. I will have to return. Very dissapointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent home office printer

I have a Brother Laser for use in most printing requirements. I bought the MFC-J835DW in April 2013 for color printing, scanning, and faxing. I connect to my computer using the USB cable interface. So far, all work flawlessly. If you want a fast printer, you may be disappointed in this model. However, the clarity is great.

Good Printer--uses too much ink

This printer works as advertised, including the wireless function, but after just a couple of months of very light usage, I am getting warnings that I am running low on ink. If so, very bad feature.

I LOVE this printer. Does everything it says it can do. I love the wireless feature! No extra cords or connections to mess with. When something is sent to it and it is turned off, it turns itself on and prints out the documents. Really good on ink useage, very efficient printing and the cartridges are reasonably priced! I will buy one for my daughter when she goes off to college next year! Can't beat the price or quality and ease of use!

so far this machine has been great overall the only problem I have windows 8 and the disc that came with it does not work with windows 8 had to download from there web site which was not to difficult if you fellow the directions carefully

A good product for the price

I was pleasantly surprise at the easy in which I was able to use this printer. The wireless feature works with both computers in my office and it's duplex capability is a welcome addition. So far, no problems with it.
All in all, it's a very good all in one printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
