In reviewing this printer i have had 4 other printers before this one, The Brother MFC-J835DW is easy to set up great quality printing and very easy to use. As far as the ink usage it uses it vary sparingly, the only reason I did not give this a 5 star is because I have not been able to get the Fax to work, but other then that this is a great printer and would Highly RECOMMEND it .
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best printer I've ever had. Print quality is very good. The print cartridges are very easy to change and the paper feed is very reliable. Thanks Brother for a great product at a reasonable price.

All of the features of the printer are great; however, the way the product is made is cheap. I had a MFC 6 in 1 so I went with same manufacturer for my new printer. The paper jams so I have to leave the top up when scanning, coping and faxing multiple pages. When scanning, coping or faxing I have lines on the printout; I have to scan, fax or copy on the glass to get a clean copy. I should have spent more money. I have had this printer a little over a year. Use for home business I may have to buy another printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would like the black to print even if the color is low. The black often says it is out of toner when it is not. The machine is not easy to set up at the beginning.
