Realiable workhorse

The MFC-J835DW is a good workhorse for a small office. I use it regularly to print materials off the internet. Print pictures and materials for my classes at a local community college. It also does well when copying materials (either in b/w or color). I have also had great success using it as a scanner. I don't receive or send many faxes but it does well in this area also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine has been an excellent performer. You must make sure the top left is securely down. I was getting improper feeding before securing top.

Printer is very fast and a great scanner. I would recommend it to anyone wanting an all n one printer/scanner. This is the second Brother printer I have owned and will buy another one. The 4x6 color prints it produces are excellent and the printer tray works flawlessly. Thanks for such a great product at a great price.

Great printer

This printer has performed exactly as I wanted it to print. In my work, I write many reports so I need a printer with good print quality and easy for me to hook up and to figure out how to use it quickly.
After years of buying only the same brand name printer and having increasingly poor results, I took a chance on this Brother MFC-J835DW. What a great printer!

Not disappointed with purchase

I have had more printers....... I have at least 4 at present. Use them for business, hobbies, and personal. So, I believe that my experience qualifies in this arena. Out of the box the printer is a cinch to set-up and install. The wi-fi almost installs itself. Quality of print and production is more than expected. All functions are intuitive, including the fax mode. Finally unplugged the stand alone Brother fax machine that has been flawless over several years. The feature I like most is the quiet operation of this printer. I would purchase another if an additional printer is needed.

Very Fast Scanner. I use it with Paperport and it's fantastic.

Good Machine

I bought this machine about 4 months ago and it worked fine, but last week the wireless stopped working. I tried to reset using the same SSID and password I set it up with, but still no success. It is hardwired now and works fine, but I need the wireless.
I would recommend this to a friend!
