Great dryer

I bought this to replace another whirlpool dryer that quit heating on me. I'm very impressed so far with all the digital upgrades and it drys really fast too !

I love the pull down door. I thought it might get in the way but actually makes loading and unloading the clothes from the basket easier. This dryer has all the features one would need. Be aware that the top of the dryer tilts down so not the right product for you is you like to put items on top of your dryer. I do have a small box anti-static sheets on the top and it does not slide off. I do find the medium heat is not always enough and bump it up to high. Having said that it seems easier on the clothes, so I am a happy camper.

New Dryer Purchase

We've had the dryer about 2 weeks now and it does a really good job using the, "set your own time", feature. The buttons are stiff to push when setting the time. And the autosettings are iffy. Overall, I think we made a good purchase.

Excellent Capabilities

When our dryer went out we decided to look for a new dryer with the hopes of it saving on our energy bill; with the different cycles available we have found that the money spent on a new dryer versus having the old one fixed has been a savings. I also love the pause option. We are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Great Performance Especially Paired with 5800 Washer

This replaced our 24 year-old Whirlpool Super Capacity dryer which was still working when our (other brand) washer died and we decided to replace both with a new matched set. Drying times are always shorter than predicted by the countdown timer when using the dryness sensor. Having a see through door on the dryer lets us see when clothes are dry or almost dry. Fast washer spin cycles can leave clothes wrinkled but they come out of this dryer pretty wrinkle free.
