couldn't be happier!

Purchased this dryer about a month ago. We are a family of six needless to say that our washer and dryer run constantly. This dryer cut drying time in half compared to our old dryer. I use to have the wet clothes sitting on top of the old dryer waiting for it to finish. Now the clothes are dried before the other load is done being washed.(cabrio washer)Saving time and money!

I purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer a month ago because my last washer and Dryer was a Whirlpool that lasted 16 years and needed to replace the washer and dryer. Whirlpool lives up to their brand and quality. I will indeed be a customer of Whirlpool products. Thanks Whirlpool.

Nice features

This is a nice dryer with many features. Has a lot of options for different types of clothes, temperatures, and recommended times. The wrinkle shield feature is great to keep clothes from sitting if you cannot get to them right away. The eco monitor lets you know how efficient your selected setting are. When using high efficient settings the dryer can take longer than others I have used, but this time can be reduced by changing the temperature or selecting your own time. Overall a nice dryer with many features.

Insufficient water can create problems

One complaint: most cycles simply use Insufficient water. The weight and friction of wet-only (not "swimming") clothes can cause excessive fabric wear; sometimes parts of clothes actually remain dry during agitation, or clothes can become twisted bundles due to lack of water to keep them "floating loose" in water and agitation design . Using the Deep Water Wash cycle can ameliorate this, but this limits you to 1 wash program. Suggestion: provide an option button for "DeepER Water" that could be applied to ANY cycle (or just program a little more water on each cycle).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good product

I really like the dryer and it's features but I do have difficulty when it has a mind of it's own and it decides when the clothes are dry. Sometimes there is a damp object in the load that I have to hand dry or time dry.

Great price! with a large tub

I would recommend this unit to anyone. You really don 't need the largest model because with the design of not having to need an agitator now, there is a large amount of room in the tub for lots of clothes.

I went shopping and got dazzled by the fancy machines. I'm glad I only stepped up as far as I did. I haven't been able to figure out the proper setting to actually dry the clothes the first time around. I'm sure I'm not over filling it and all the other rules. Usually have to run it again with some clothes for at least another 15. Too many settings get a little overwhelming. But it is nice to have my own dryer. And it looks nice.
