Very pleased with overall performance of my dryer

We purchased our dryer last month and I am very pleased with the opertion of the dryer. The controls are well laid out - the performance of the unit has be top notch

A brand new experience with the new energy saving feachers on both washer and dryer. But the biggest surprise was how clean the clothing were after the wash and dry cycles.

Great features!

My last Whirlpool dryer lasted almost 30 years! I hope this one is as great. Love the large capacity, as well as the programming options.The only thing I would change is the exterior. The top is slanted back to front, and anything sitting on top of the dryer slides off when it is drying. I hate having to shift things I want to keep on top off the top every time I use it. Never thought about this when I was purchasing the dryer.

A little gimmicky

We bought the dryer to replace an old, broken dryer from another manufacturer we had. We've grown to love the Whirlpool brand, and until we get burned, we're going all-in. We bought this dryer for some of the energy efficiency features, like the sensor drying and sensing when clothes are done...this sounds effective at first glance, and works with socks (that aren't bunched up), t-shirts, underwear, and other light materials...blue jeans, towels, etc don't dry as well with this technology (even setting the sensor to "More Dry"). On jeans, the little watch pocket in every pair doesn't get all the way dry, nor does the waste line (the thickest points)...towels remain lightly damp. If the sensor drying stuff worked the way it was supposed to, I'd give it a full 5 stars.

Great Dryer!

I really like my new dryer. The computerized dials make it easy to see which setting is most energy efficient. The ending chimes are nice compared to the buzzer on older models.
