I bought the dryer over a month ago along with high efficiency washer and saw a $30.00 savings on my electric bill.

Great Dryer

This is a great cost efficient dryer. We have had it for about 2 months now and love it. It has many great features and eco control which is awesome because it helps save a little money too. Totally worth every penny. 4 out of 5 because there is a groove on the dryer drum that sometimes catches clothes and doesn't release them. You end up having to pull them out of the groove yourself which is a little frustrating because sometimes it stretches the stuck material out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Saves time and energy!

I have had this dryer for three weeks now and I love it. Picking a setting which shows the amount of time does not mean it will take that amount of time. So often the clothes are dry much sooner and the sensors allow it to turn off. Clothes look nice and no wrinkles.

I am very disappointed, because I had always heard that Whirlpool was an excellent brand. However, my new dryer doesn't dry my clothes, unless they are very thin. Even then, I can't dry them on "delicate," because they would never dry. I have to dry them on "normal." I dry the towels on "heavy duty," and still have to dry them over and over. Even when I change the setting to "normal," and re-start, the dryer won't run more than 5 additional minutes. Maybe this is because the government (EPA) has imposed strict guidelines on the manufacture of your dryer so that I'm not allowed to have dry clothes, in the interest of saving energy? As with all such misguided ideas, I am actually using much more energy by running the dryer over and over again, in an attempt to have dry clothes!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
