I bought this machine about 2 months ago and because it has electronic controls, it took us a few times to figure out how to use it. But now we love it! It's quiet, dries clothes quickly.

Gets the job done with efficiency

It's just the 2 of us in the house now so we go longer between laundry times. So when laundry day comes we have pretty large loads, whether it's clothes or towels and washcloths. With our old dryer we had to do half a wash load at a time and run them through the dryer cycle twice. With our new Whirlpool dryer we throw the whole load of wash in and they dry in one dryer cycle or less. We are saving money with lower electric bills and just as important we are spending a lot less time doing laundry and more time enjoying life.

We bough this after our 30 year old dryer stopped heating. Quality and sturdiness were important to us. So far this one fits the bill.

I bought this last month and my wife actually looks forward to doing the laundry because it is so complicated and yet it pretty much does everything for you. She just loves it!

Good Budget Dryer

We were looking for a dryer which would do everything we want without costing an arm and a leg. This seems to fit the bill.Good:- Auto or manual drying with the ability to control time and temp.- Auto dry works well.- Reasonably quiet operation.Not so good:- Top of unit is not flat, can't put laundry basket on top.- Lots of beeps when setting; and nothing in the manual about how to turn them off. I had to go search online for the secret.
