Our old GE Microwave didn't stop working but the handle covering wore off. I painted the handle several times, but decided it was time to just replace it.

You get what you pay for

This microwave looks great and does the job. But the feel of it is very cheap. When you open the door and then close it you just get the feeling it would be easy to damage it so be careful. I can't say any other microwave ovens in the same price range would be any different. So overall I would have to say it is fine for the price.
