The oven is outstanding. The top is very easy to clean and keep up. I bought the cast iron griddle with the range, and can't wait to try it out!

Dependable Gas Range!

We purchased our GE Gas Range in 2006. It was PERFECTION! I miss it so much, since we moved last year! I could turn it on and KNOW that I could control the accuracy of the temperature and that the burners would light every time! My bakery goods would be amazingly perfect in the oven! I never burned food, b/c the timer always worked! These seem like simple things, but I have an electric stovetop/oven in our new home. Nothing is controllable! I never had to have service on my gas range! EVER! We just couldn't bring it with us. I'm already in the market for a new one!!!

Great Value, Easy To Clean, Love the Top

I love my new stove! The stove top grates are two very heavy pieces that don't shift if I slide a pot from one burner to another. I like the deep recessed top - it's so easy to clean. My old oven was "flaky" with regards to temperature, and so far, I haven't had any issues with the oven. I like the delay bake feature. What I don't like? The oven light does not come on when you open the door. (I've never had an oven that didn't have an oven light that came on when the door was opened, so this was odd to me - I contacted GE to confirm this feature was missing.) I also don't like the fact that there isn't a "count down" when the oven is preheating. I was spoiled by my old oven telling me how much time was left until the oven was (supposedly) at the set temperature. Despite these two features not being present, I still love the range!
I would recommend this to a friend!
