Great Picture (When it Works)

Product seemed good until the poor quality power supplies and wires caused the night vision to not function properly. Additionally, the DVR sporadically reboots itself, and occasionally stops recording. Customer service has been very helpful in resolving these issues so far. If you want a trouble-free install, I would not recommend this product.

I bought this about a month ago I was hoping for the wide-angle lens that the website advertisedesign but I don't have that yet, however the customer service responsearch was good and I'must hoping for a resolution next week

Easy setup and functions.

Just bought this. Has all the features I need for home security. Easy setup so far. Have not tried remote viewing yet. Just testing cameras in various locations until I see what works best for me. Pictures look sharp and clear.

I Bought this system because I had ex-roomates breaking into my house when I would leave. I no longer felt safe coming home especially since they had moved into my room when I was out of town. I had a very over active imagination and was constantly hearing noises outside. I am at peace and feel very secure now having the Defender system. I wish they would come in just one more time and take some more items of mine. It will all be recorded and they will be sitting in jail thinking about my cameras! :-)
I love these cameras! The night vision is AMAZING ! Usually
I forget to turn on my outdoor lights because the picture is so clear and bright I don’t even notice it is completely dark outside. The quality of the defender camera system can’t be beat especially for the great price.
I will definitely be a loyal customer for life.

Best security on a tight budget

This is the second defender system I have owned. Still catching vandals as well as keeping the junkies from across the street off of my property. Got video of one of the junkies with a rifle once too. Forwarded it to the PD and they took care of it.
Same as the last review I wrote 2 years ago, I still recommend adding an IR Illuminator in areas that you want to have excellent night vision. Best DVR and Camera packages on a budget. Easy plug and play setup too.
While I'd love to have a digital camera system that can record as clear as my cell phone those are insanely expensive and well beyond my ability to afford. This system still does what I need it to do at a fraction of the cost.
