Fantastic system

The support led me to install the Ports and he was very patient with me and Renzo. It worked out to the letter so we are very pleased with the support tech Michel.
The cameras are so clear even at night so I may want to order one more camera at a later date.

Easy to set up and has great quality video! Comes with 8 cameras with 800TVL resolution and a DVR with a 2TB hard drive

I had some issues setting the system for remote viewing so I called defender and spoke with Michel,he was very friendly and was able to walk me thru the steps on how to set up my dvr,thanks Michel,system works great and has a very good night vision.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product for the money

I bought this system about a month ago. It took me a couple of weeks to get up the courage to actually install it. I opted for the wired rather than the wireless because I read reviews of people who thought wireless frequently had transmission challenges. Since the "wireless" systems require a wire for the power, running a wire that contained both the power and images was, to me, a no brainer. I plugged everything in and it worked right away. I was not, however able to connect to the system remotely. I sent a message to Defender, received an email reply the next day. I still could not get it to work and send a reply to Defender. I received a call from Michel who has patience unlike any human I ever met! He walked me through a process of opening connections and entering codes that I NEVER would have found or understood. He took control of my computer, updated everything. The Defender system is great... Michel is GREATER ! :>)

easy set up, great customer support, would have liked to have had a few extension cables or cables supplied should be longer. Great picture quality and easy to get real time pics from smart phone.

I purchased the DEFENDER Sentinel Pro Widescreen 8CH Security DVR with 2TB storage in October-2015 and installed it all myself. The product has exceeded my initial expectations thus far. The installation was fairly simple and straightforward, based on the written instructions provided as well as the manual included on the CD provided. Video surveillance is clear and the night vision is better than I expected for the price paid. I'm going to consider this money well spent on this particular product.
