Very impressive! I had compared with various brands, but we came back to this over and over until we went for it and I'm glad we did! The clarity, the material and ease of operation prove this is a quality product! Make sure you have a professional install, because you may need extra wire etc., contingent upon your SQ footage. Thanks!

Money Well Spent Great System!!

I bought this system a few weeks ago and had it hooked up 3days ago. My mind is at ease already.This is my 1st camera system and I love it!! Hd quality video even watching live.I have a coworker that bought a system from our local SAMs Club and we compared live footage on our smart phones and to my eyes and his there was no comparison!!Mine was clear and smooth his was noisy and when in night vision it was full of snow.He ordered this system that night when he got home needless to say.And I was on my way to show another coworker my smartphone app (ClearVu by the way) he had to leave work and head home he had just got broken into while we were talking about this system.I text him this link and hopefully he will invest in this one also.The App works great you can rewind,forward,record and take still shots.You just got a customer for life Defender!! By the way I just ordered 2 more cameras today to add on!!

I purchased this product mainly based on other reviews. This product has a good price point for what was included. When I received the unit, I set it up and checked the camera function as well as the DVR. There were no issues. I proceeded with the install and again it was plug and play. No issues encountered. The software takes a little to get used to, but what software doesn't? Overall for the price I think you get what you pay for. I have not completed the networking portion yet (live view from another computer or cell phone). It was not plug and play. It will take some time to work through it, but I am sure I can get there. One thing that is a little disappointing is the sensitivity of the motion detection. In most cases it seems too sensitive even on minimum. Subtle changes in ambient light or even snow falling set it off resulting in numerous false alarms and clogs my email with useless photos. To be fair, I have not contacted Defender yet, but it is in the plan. But, I am still impressed with the system. It captures all activity and notifies me. So far I am very satisfied.

Great video - Easy Installation

Only took me a day to run the wires in my attic and down an access pipe within my wall to my television. I like the "plug-and-play" feel of the product setup. Also ran an ethernet cable from the DVR to my router and now I can check the cameras from any computer in the house. The night vision is INCREDIBLE !!!!

I got this system to protect my home. Its great. Easy to install...it took 2 of us half a day to get the cams up and running and video recording. The price was reasonable too. Image quality is very good.

I shopped many systems and found Defender Sentinel pro widescreen 21160 was the best value with 150' night vision. with 8 cameras I am able to cover my entire property. setup was easy. Very satisfied with the capabilities of the system. Having trouble with networking and remote view. it may be problems with our home network.
