Love the system

I purchased this on Oct 27, 2015. Waited to review until I actually used the system to see how it worked.
The most time consuming part of installing the cameras was to dig trenches and put the wire inside piping. Once all the prep work was done, the rest of the system was super easy to hook up, actually pretty user friendly. The cameras have a nice wide view, very clear, very sturdy heavy duty, but when pitch black outside, really can't see all that much. If you have an outside light on, then the visual is pretty good. I put my cameras on motion, then I receive email updates every 10 minutes. I would rather have it notify me only when the motion is set off and not at 10 minute intervals. I had a few questions while I was trying to set up my email and the customer service is excellent and very helpful. I am so glad that I purchased this system, love it!!

I bought the pro defender with 8 cameras and liked it so well I bought the same unit again with 4 cameras for my work shop.Very Happy

Very comprehensive package.

For the price, this systems performance is far superior to anything I can find in the local big box stores. Since it was purchased and installed only 5 months ago, it has already recorded a break and enter next door, and caught a regular high speed driver in the back lane. All illegal dumping has stopped.
One camera failed, and was promptly replaced with a minimum of effort on my behalf.
Because of its performance I will be adding more cameras in the future.

DVR Software - Bells & Whistles

Being IT, I came up with a lot of features in my mind I wanted. The software that runs the DVR & cameras is outstanding. Tying into this unit over the internet, through IE is also very cool. So is the phone APP.

Works for the money

The system works for the money. It's nothing fantastic but probably hard to beat in the price bracket. I had two cameras fail during the winter, sent them in and two weeks later had two new ones. Tech support is a little slow but there.

I just bought the system last week.the only problem is that I have with it is ive got one camera will not light up at night but I would recommend this system

Exceeded My Expectations

I bought this product and it was shipped with no issues or problems. One of the camera wires was cut upon delivery but Customer servicE was easy to work with. I am extremely happy with the product. Very easy to install and easy to connect via my smartphone. I was disappointed at the lack of a "real" owners manual as I had to download a digital one from the website. Night vision is clear and the motion detection is sensitive. Great product. I would buy another one!
