Doesn't stick out, hides well

I bought these cameras to augment the Defender system I already have in place. They have the flexibility I wanted for my front and back doors. Easy to adjust viewing and worked perfectly with existing system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ease of setup but three of the cameras were bad and so far two had to be replaced.

I bought this to have another set of eyes in and around the house because of someone in the house who has problems. The single model I purchased was 21318 but not listed .

Functional and sturdy

I bought these two cameras to replace discontinued models. While my DVR doesn't fully support the HD feature of these, they do the job.

They work good except

I like the design and they are built well. I am having some problems getting three of the 8 camera's to switch to IR. I have been told that it's a voltage issue. Hmmmm? Good for short distances under 65ft from DVR

Nice Cameras

Added these cameras to my existing Defender system to give me coverage of a front porch and out building in the back yard. The addition provided me exactly what I wanted, and still have room for 2 more if needed in the future. Picture is nice, night vision is excellent. The only down side is the software that comes with the DVR. It doesn't allow you to have 6 pictures on your monitor. It is 4 or 9, and with 6 cameras you get 3 blank spaces at the bottom of the screen. I have requested a software upgrade to be written into the existing program. All other features of the software are excellent. Customer Service representatives Suzanne and Whitney are the best. Both have been a huge help in this whole process. Defender is the best system for the money on the market. Do the research as I did to realize this. I highly recommend Defender Security Systems to anybody wanting a stand alone system.
