I did some research a year ago on the best ice cream maker for home/personal use, and little did I know my husband was doing the same to buy one as a gift for me! We both landed on the Whynter machine and it was the right choice. We found a great recipe for ice cream and this machine makes it quick and easy. Easy to use and understand; it cools down nicely and creates the ice cream in a very smooth consistency. Easy removal and clean up! Very happy with this machine.

I’ve had mine now for two months and can not find anything to complain about. Works fantastically every time even though I have been using different recipes. Grandkids especially like my version of cotton candy gelato that I’m making for the third time. Especially like making different flavors back to back in no time at all

Bought this unit at end of summer. A lot has to do with having the right recipe and we found it. After that it is just all kinds of ice creams all of the time . So hard to find wonderful fruit flavors of ice cream in the supermarket. We make them at home now. Sooooo good.

got it for xmas and just used it..the issue i encountered was the metal bowl would not come out after ice cream was done..it froze in place..how do i stop that from happening

Thanks for your feedback on your ice cream maker. Make sure the bowl is not wet when placing it into the unit for a cycle to prevent it to freezing to the compartment.
