I love this phone. It is my first Andriod. Once again I am pleased with a Samsung Product. Phone looks great and seems pretty durable. I am also happy with the level of sound that comes from this phone. Just switched from Windows Mobile and I am happy I did. A few to many applications come on this device and it bogs it down a bit.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, camera flash
Cons: no flash player, no front camera, over stuffed with applications
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pay more, don't settle for the Samsung Smart

I didn't want to spend a lot of money for my first Smart Phone - and so selected the Samsung Gravity Smart, which I dubbed the Gravity Dumb!!! Yes it was way cheaper than other smart phones but I should have done more research, as it turns out the Internal Memory of this phone is very VERY limited even with a memory card added. ie - I couldn't download many apps (maybe 10??) - and couldn't use phone once I went over the internal memory... which is about 120 MB!!!! I replaced the phone after 3 frustrating months of usage and replaced with the Samsung Galaxy S II... yes - way more expensive - but I'm so happy I did - with its approx. 5 GB of internal memory. No comparison. Samsung makes a great product - but just not with the Gravity phone.
After all - what's the point of a Smart Phone if is can't be used as one! Barely could use Internet and had nothing to do with my data plan as I have same data plan now and can play games - download tons of apps and more.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: beware! very limited internal memory
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible Phone

This phone has very little memory. Even when everything possible is saved to my SD card, it still says there is insufficient memory. I can't install any apps w/o the memory filling up. It is also slow at times and shuts itself off. At times it also does not read my touch when I am trying to answer the phone or do other tasks. This is a terrible phone. Do not get it.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this phone for my wife as training wheels, to get her adjusted to the android OS(previously owning a Samsung Behold feature phone). It is a Zippy little phone, takes good pictures but mediocre video. The screen is sub par, colors are kind of washed out.Overall the phone works and does it's job very well with exception of internal memory, it only has 256mb of internal memory, and that is even shared. you CAN NOT have more than 2-3 apps installed on this phone. It has constant "out of memory" warnings. A true crutch to what could be a great entry level phone! any android phone today should have no less than 1gb internal. I had a competitive phone that had 512mb, and hardly had the issues she is having! Quite a disappointment.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, surprisingly fast!, great physical keyboard, camersa takes very good 3mp photos
Cons: inept screen, almost no internal memory, video camera is not very good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My internet has been disrupted 2 or 3 times where it just loses all data network and I can't even get picture messages. Recently the phone has lost all access. Still rings once in awhile, never for texts, but the light won't come on the display so I can't see what I am touching.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, frequently lost use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not bad, not great

I have had this phone for about a year and while I like some things about it, there are some major issues that I have had with this phone. After only 2 months the opperating system would not boot so I had to send the phone back. This meant four - count them - FOUR weeks without a phone. I have also had issues with the limited memory and extremely poor battery. I can only have five downloaded apps on the phone or the memory runs out and messages will not be stored and I am only getting 3-4 hours of talk or about 20 minutes of internet/app time usage before the phone is out of power. You will need a car charger and a extra charger to keep with you as you will constantly be charging this phone.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: poor battery life, low memory
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
